(Oct 2008): Troy Anthony Davis is schedule to be executed TOMORROW, September 23rd at 7pm. Davis was convicted of murdering an off-duty police officer, despite no physical evidence and the testimony of witnesses, seven of whom recanted. On Friday, September 12th, Troy Davis was denied clemency by the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles. It is imperative that we respectfully ask them to reconsider this unfortunate decision.Although Mr. Davis has an appeal pending before the US Supreme Court, we can take action by asking the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles to reconsider their decision and commute or stay his sentence.
Help stop his execution with the ACLU. We can't let another person of questionable guilt be killed on Death Row.
Urge the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles to reconsider their decision and commute or stay the death sentence of Troy Anthony Davis.
